About
Hungry Bear is an independent family business built on one simple belief: everyone deserves great food and a warm welcome.

Mission
The Hungry Bear believes the best moments in life happen around the table. Our philosophy has never been about fancy food or following trends. We believe in simple cooking, generous portions, quality ingredients and great value. We focus on substance over style, creating food that comforts, satisfies and brings people back time and time again.
In a busy world, we hope Hungry Bear gives people the chance to slow down, share conversations, create memories and enjoy time with the people who matter most. If our guests leave feeling full, welcomed and a little happier than when they arrived, then we've done our job.
The Bear Family
Hungry Bear has always been a family business.
At the heart of it is Stuart "The Bear", who leads the food offering. From creating menus and selecting trusted suppliers to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards, Stuart is passionate about serving honest food that people genuinely enjoy.
Dayna leads the Hungry Bear brand, overseeing customer experience, recruitment, marketing and ensuring every guest receives the warm welcome Hungry Bear is known for.
Behind the scenes, Nanna Bear has contributed family recipes, homemade bakes and plenty of love along the way.
And then there are the youngest Bears. Hafthor, now seven, has grown up with Hungry Bear and is often found coming along for the adventure, while Alfie, now thirteen, has helped prepare several of our premises as each new chapter has begun.
Together, we're the Bear family, and we look forward to welcoming you to ours.

Niton
A New Chapter in Niton Niton represents an exciting new chapter for the Hungry Bear family.
It also feels like coming home.
Earlier in his career, Stuart successfully ran the White Lion Pub in the village, building lasting relationships within the local community.
Dayna and Stuart also lived in Niton when their son Hafthor was born, and Nanna Bear has proudly called the village home for the past nine years.
We're excited to become part of village life, to welcome local residents and visitors alike, and to introduce Hungry Bear to the surrounding communities.
To everyone who has supported us over the years and followed the Hungry Bear journey from one location to the next, we hope you'll travel that little bit further to get your paws on some Bear food.
We can't wait to welcome you.
